Collection and Use of Your Information

Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect visitor's contact information (like their email address) and financial information (like their account or credit card numbers). Contact information from the order form is used to send orders to our customers. The customer's contact information is used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary to follow-up on the requests for information, products and services, send marketing communications, sending marketing communications or conducting research and analysis. Users may, however, opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. Financial information that is collected is used only to bill the user for products and services.  When a user purchases products from our site we communicate via email to confirm order and correspond if there is a problem receiving the product.

Information, including personally identifiable information, collected on this site will not be shared, transferred or released to any third party except, in limited circumstances, we may need to share your information with certain third parties such as our agents, service providers and other representatives acting on our behalf to perform services on our behalf such as providing chat functions, sending regular mail or email on our behalf, processing credit card payments, fulfilling our customers' orders, sending marketing communications, conducting research, analysis or administering surveys. When we share your information with other companies to help us provide our services to you, we will require them to comply with all applicable legal requirements regarding the privacy of your information. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

We use other third parties to provide services such as credit card processing on our site.  When you purchase one of our products, we will share your credit card information as necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

 

 

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user�s computer that can relate information about the user to the server. Usage of a cookie is only linked personally identifiable information while on our site to power our shopping cart.  It enables us to track and maintain your order through the checkout process. After checkout or closing your browser the cookie terminates.

The use of cookies by our service providers is not covered by our privacy policy. We do not have access or control over these cookies. Our service providers use persistent cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site, in order for you to use the shopping cart, etc.

Our site also captures IP addresses, browser types, domain names and access times for various purposes such as to diagnose service or technology problems with our server, administer our web site, estimate the total number of users visiting nupplegal.com, and gather broad demographic information.  This is all to provide the highest quality service to our customers and merchants and is not tied to personally identifiable information except as needed to prevent fraud or abuse of the system.


Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)

Our third party tracking utility partner employs a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers’ personally identifiable information. 

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.  All financial information is encrypted via SSL in an approved and accepted manner for transporting financial information on the Internet through our Yahoo! Stores storefront.

Children's Guidelines

Our site does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children, nor is our site targeted towards children.  We process all order forms with a credit card.  However, in the unlikely event we become aware that an underage user has submitted their personal information we immediately delete the users personal information.

Choice/Opt-Out


We communicate with our customers through multiple channels and vehicles to keep you up-to-date on promotions, offers, customer experience content and new products or services.

Once you provide your personal information, we may contact you through direct mail, e-mail or phone. We may continue to communicate with you through these channels unless you request to stop receiving these communications by opting out. Before sending you mobile marketing (e.g., text messages) we will require your express consent by requesting that you opt-in.

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the user.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at admin@nupplegal.com.  We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via email.  You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner.  However, if you have opted out of all communication with the site, or deleted/deactivated your account, then you will not be contacted.  Nor will your personal information be used in this new manner.  In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our web site notifying users of the change.  In some cases where we post the notice we will also email users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
